Jamey’s Still Got It

Last Friday, my friend and web designer Andrew Youngren and I did a little road trip to B.C. to see Jamey Aebersold.  We live on Orcas island, WA, 60 miles south, but, with the ferry ride and border crossing it's a long day at best.  Watching Jamey at work reminded me of how much we both enjoy  trying to help students get a little jazz into their ears and under their fingers. Jamey has always worked magic with kids and he didn't disappoint with these.  Jamey's still got it!   He always manages to get the most out of every kid he works with.  For sure, these kids left with a lot of new information, had  some real fun and will long remember their time with Jamey.
