The Valley High Project

Willie Thomas | August 20, 2012

We have created this page in order to facilitate the dissemination of materials and information needed in moving the Valley High Project forward. Every year auditions are conducted to determine which students will be members of the Valley High Jazz I and II. This year, it is our pleasure to help in this process by selecting the audition materials from our online lessons.

The Valley High Jazz Bands meet on a regular schedule 4 days a week. One day each week will be designated for the teaching of jazz fundamentals. Each of the other 3 days will start with a 10 minute routine that reinforces current lesson concepts. Below you will see a sample of our 2-week block schedule.
Special Note: Work in Lesson 3 has been extended through the week of October 17-21
