News:

Jazz Everyone has just had it's first birthday! We are happy to report that thousands of people have visited our site, listened to music and worked with the online lessons. One day, we hope to support these efforts with a membership fee. Until then, any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's Toot and Tell Time!

Toot a tune, record yourself playing and then send it to Uncle Willie. Willie will select a few recordings each month, critique them, and make suggestions on how to improve your playing. You can upload a video to YouTube, email an audio track, or send it "snail-mail" to:

Uncle Willie Thomas
PO Box 35
Olga, WA 98279

Note: Recordings submitted will not be returned, shown on any other site or venue or used for any other purpose without permission. All recordings become the property of Jazz Everyone...!

Here's Ryan Kisor back in 1989 at the tender age of 16.

Here's Justin Kisor in Toot and Tell #4, Cherokee.
For solo transcription, click here. (Thanks to Tobias Weber)

Here's Toot and Tell #3 with Mark Prather playing Another You.

Here's our second Toot and Tell! Ray Feliciano plays a sweet "My Funny Valentine." Hey Ray, give us an update after you've worked on this for a while.

Here's our first submission. Craig Tweddell is Uncle Willie's first victim! Just kidding Craig, we hope you get some good feedback from Uncle Willie's critique. Practice this for a month, then re-record yourself so we can show your improvement.

All of you other players, take advantage of this incredible offer!!! Post your video to YouTube and then send Uncle Willie an email to get your critique. Happy tooting!
