A major goal of the Jazz Everyone system is to help players at all levels improve their playing by immersing them in the language of Jazz with a minimal amount of theoretical knowledge. However, having a basic working knowledge of music theory is important when learning some of the more advanced sections introduced in the Player’s Corner.
The Player’s Resource provides some basic theory information (including video & sound clip examples) that will help you get the most out of your Jazz Everyone experience. If you have a theory-related question about something that is not clear or covered in one of Willie’s lessons and you cannot find the answer here in the Player’s Resource section, just ask Charlie in the Ask Charlie Forum!
