Pentatonic Power Pack (PPP) Study Guide
Developing Jazz Vocabulary with the Pentatonic System:
If you aren’t familiar with how Pentatonic Pairs are formed and developed, it will be helpful to study the information presented in the PPP Study Guide before you start working with the lessons. You might also want to review Lesson 8 in the Intermediate Corner where the Pentatonic System is introduced. These examples are all in the same key since there is no playing that requires transposition. If you have reached this level, you will probably find little difficulty in understanding these concepts.

After you study the Lead Sheet and listen to the combo play On The Road Again, play it several times with the 1.1 Play Track. Pentatonic Pairs formed in every Major Pentatonic Scale are the basis for this jazz original and they are a fundamental concept in the Jazz Everyone Language System.

Eb is missing
You’re right! I just got it fixed. Thanks for speaking up.
Thanks. I think I get the idea of the pentatonic pairs-slowly starting to morph into a language which I am learning to speak rather than just a load of words and a bit of grammar (like my knowledge of french)
Has anybody got any idea about launching this above play track. (Adobe and Java are OK.).
thanks from France
Pierrick, can’t get it to play? Have you had any other problems with play tracks? You might try clearing the cache in your browser and try it again. Let me know if that does anything.
